Also, how do you get a 'made cut, but did not  finish' when there is only 1 cut? do they simply stick the last (highest) group of missed cut scorers in that category?

I believe too many people made the cut with ties, so they cut down the final day(especially with the amateurs). Unlike a normal cut, these guys get paid as making the cut but tying for last place.

I also believe if you make the cut you also get $10k to your retirement pension.

Here's hoping for a straight driver and hot putter. Oh and Casey needs to be off his game.

Did you see what PGATour posted on my iphone news (when you have a favorite selected on the leaderboard, they post when the player finishes 1st hole: “Phil Mickelson has completed hole #1 and is -3 thru 1.”. Then i go to the leaderboard and sure enough -3 to -15! I go running to wife with my iphone and show her and we are screaming, until i do one more refresh and back to -12! Who’s the wiseguy who put those numbers in?
