Masters 2019 Final Round
Through a combination of luck, poor shots and missed Putts--PHIL is 7 strokes out today. Would take a 62 to win this puppy.
Hard to do but either way lets go PHIL

Bogie on 1st, looks like he can't possibly make birdie on 2.... ugh, not a factor.
Some comedy of errors from Friday (look where the ball ends up and what does he do now?):

1 more roll and he would have eagled 5. Of course it stops right on the lip from 215yds out.

Nice bird again to -8. What could have been if he had a decent Friday (-2/-3 for Friday play and he would have been in contention).

And now Phil pushes a fade way left into dense bushes....calls for provisional ball....ugh, going to be a double here, imo. Guy can't help but trip over his own feet seemingly. Unnecessary. and they were just talking about Rahm of going 18-for-19 fairways?

Tiger got ‘mad face’ on as they walk off green and Francesco has smiley happy face. Pisano mio, let’s do it!

Re: Masters 2019 Final Round
The double on ten killed him but he did miss birdie putts at 2-4-8-9-11-12-13
so many putts that could have fallen.

Re: Masters 2019 Final Round
I should say that no one makes every putt at Augusta but the winner makes the most of them. PHIL left too many putts out there this week
Re: Masters 2019 Final Round
3somes helped Tiger. Tony and Molinari would have been alone and not have tiger starting them down every shot.

Very happy for Tiger. For what he has gone through with several back surgeries, it's an amazing comeback. It's also great for golf.

Tiger outscored everyone else and deservedly won, but not meaning to put you on the defensive--what benefits do you see it having for golf in general. It benefits him and his legacy--his sponsors, etc., but what does it do for golf in general? Lots of people think it's really great for golf, but I haven't heard anyone say why this is so. Perhaps it's too obvious.

Re: Masters 2019 Final Round
tv ratings, including the share rating, were well below Phil's family win in 2010
Having a look at the Masters ratings, Phil was driving them this decade, not Tiger

Re: Masters 2019 Final Round
Well, before Tiger won the Masters, and perhaps before he won the tour championship, at least it was... "Who is going to win this week?". And even when the Golf Media was giving Rory kudo's that often never panned out, the media coverage was spread around. My misgivings for Tiger winning the Masters, and as others have said, deservingly so.... my misgivings is that the media will return to all things Tiger, all the time.... like showing more of Tiger's shots when he's 45th on the leaderboard on a sunday than showing the leaders. I hope it doesn't return to that, but you know it will.
They are now saying he'll do more for golf now then he did in the past.... because of the 'comeback'?
The next one-on-one money game for $9 mill will likely be Tiger and someone else, not Phil. My bet for making it more watcher friendly would be to have teams, where the players would be more likely to joke around and jive each other than if playing 1-on-1.

That was how long ago.... golf is like 'what have you done lately'. Phil could have really improved his place in golf with a good showing, considering conditions were pretty decent compared to other Masters.

I don't know why Phil makes some of these funny videos.... they fall flat when he doesn't play well.
https://twitter.com/PhilMickelson
Check out the video where he's driving down Magnolia lane and talking about Bombing his tee shots, that he had 125 mph club head speed last night and he's never had that in his life.... funny quip about playing with Kuchar, that there's likely not going to be any sidebets because there's 0.06% chance he'd likely get paid (joke referring to Kuchar stiffing the caddy in Mexico).
