Also prepare for too much tv showing Bill Murray and others one cares nothing about. I couldn't watch last night as they showed Phil's loss and Vaughn Taylor's win! Time to start putting together a final round. Time to stop making so many bogeys and start making crucial putts! Success!!!

I should follow up on Gophil comments. I did not see the weather until later. PHIL had 5 or six birds in horrendous wind--likely that also caused his two double bogies. Wind gusts and several holes at Pebble were just about unplayable.

I should note that we will be a very pleasant 65 today in memphis. No wind and wonderful sunshine. Just perfect weather for this time of year. Unbelievable

Phil needs a great final 9. Sick of being in a situation where he needs to go real low to get in it.

Unfortunately, no back nine charge. Considering Phil's track record here, disappointing stuff.

Very mediocre round considering Phil loves this place. All the big names except Phil moved up the board today and recovered nicely after a tough round 1. 5 weeks in a row may be too much. He may be getting tired. Ironically he has hit 74% of fairways and scored terrible.

There's a good article about Bones on PGA Tour's website. Funny story about Phil calling Bone's Dr. the day before surgery and gave advice. I agree about the golf. It's only half over, but maybe a slow start will lead to a super finish! The news is all about Tiger today. I think for the most part that he's finished. Tiger, I mean.

Phil was in good form coming in and I just checked the scores at Spyglass and only a few shot worse than Phil. Spieth and Day -7 .Phil has put himself in a Big hole. Hope he makes the Saturday cut. He needs a pair of 64s on the weekend now.

We should see some of him at Pebble today. He goes out later, so he should be more rested. I think that this I is likely too much golf for Bones as well as Phil.

Making lots of birdies, just too many bogeys. I didn't think that he played too badly today.

Driving accuracy was really good for him. He is killing his rounds with bogeys. That's all Faldo keeps saying and sad but true. Hard to believe anyone can catch Spieth when he plays this good . He could still get a top 10. Hopefully next week it will all come together.
