and PHIL had a solid round but is still too far out. Overall PHIL has had 15 pretty decent rounds but has not put four straight rounds straight.

Maybe next week?

It could happen but I think he's played too much right now considering all he's been thru.

At this point in tournament Phil 20 birdies 8 bogeys 3 doubles. SPIETH 21 BIRDIES 4 BOGEYS. very bittersweet situation.

Looks like he put 2 into someones yard and took 8 on 15.. Maybe too much golf this early in the year.

I think he needs to take next week off.

Lol another great Sunday from Phil. He can't keep it together for four rounds. A bad combo of fatigue and old age.

Phil won't skip Torrey because he's a San Diego guy; but he should stop playing there. Phil had not fared well there since the redesign. In comparison, he's skipped Riviera the past couple years, despite two wins and two runner ups in LA since 2007. Next week he's scheduled to return, but appears gassed anyway.

Pathetic again....seems to fall apart on back nines.

Hope he didn't re injure himself and it was just his lack of focus when he's out of contention. After that double he knew his low round was gone so then a total collapse.

Really done after the quadruple.
