Should be plenty of television time since he is in the final pairing today.

Phil not getting it done. He's 3 back with Triplett and Furyk ahead of him. Don't think Phil can do it, especially if he goes into 'all broke' mode and makes bogies and doubles trying to catch up. He should be in the lead at this point. Maybe doesn't practice much thinking "well, it's only the Champions tour". No wonder he's vying for an announcing job; I just can't see him week-in, week-out playing like all the other guys do and not competitive on the PGA Tour anymore as he can't make enough birdies to keep up.

I've been following the tournament on TV and online. It was the putter that held him from being in the lead. The announcers said the same thing. The rest of the game looked good . 3 back isn't too bad if he can get the putter hot.

Phil birdies the last hole and will win as long as Furyk does not eagle the 18th hole.

Good going Phil! You went contrary to my earlier comments and go out and won this thing with a bogie free final round! Phil must like this back nine as he was sleepy on the front nine all week!

Hmm.... Phil was at -19 with that 18th hole birdie; Furyk at -16, an eagle would have just brought him to -18 and the Charles Schwab cup?... nope, he would have had to have solo 2nd place.
Exciting finish on all 3 tournaments today... dang Lexi, you bogied the 18th hole to get in a 4-way playoff and Nellie Korda won, but could have won it outright with a par!!; Kokrak went on a 4-in-a-row birdie fest 14-15-16-17? to launch up the leaderboard. Scottie, your time will come, you're always there.
