PHIL and this week's Champion's tour event

Unfortunately, he's playing like a hack. On one hole the 1st day, he lays up and hits it through the fairway and into the mud, and has to stand in the mud with his shoes and hits it back in play. 2nd day, I think same spot, he hits it again, sitting on top of the mud, but this time he has to stand bare-legged in 1-foot deep water/mud to hit it out. What a mess he's made of this course where he won his first PGA tour tournament.

Phil won his first tournament on a different course. However, he did win the other two Tucson Open tournaments on the course he is playing on this week.

A triple and 2 doubles so far this week. Plus 2 more he was lucky to have a shot out of the mud. Too many strokes thrown away to contend.

Yup the big scores are dooming Phil this week.
