Do you think Phil will play if given an invite since he's unable to qualify?  He said not, but that was before this pandemic.

I think he will be top 50 by the time it comes around.

I also heard without qualifying they might extend it past top 50.. Would surely love to see him win the US Open @50 and at Winged Foot

It would be great to see him get the grand slam and be the oldest major winner. Phil deserves to have an accolade that nobody else has accomplished.

Yes, I read something about because of the restrictions on play from COVID-pandemic and 'no qualifying' for the US Open, that they might just allow more entries than they would normally. I hope Phil takes this as a positive move to accept and not as a 'special exemption' case just for him.

Hope you all are doing well during this time. Here in Oklahoma we have minimal cases compared to other states. Our university football team just had 150 tested and 4 athletes tested positive (asymptomatic, or pre-symptomatic) so not sure what that means when the 20,000+ come back to campus in August (they already notified that that campus will close with students going home for Thanksgiving, and the remaining 2 weeks to the semester will be finished online/Zoom (I'm starting to hate zoom).
