Cute that his family is following him on the course. They showed Sophia earlier. She looks so grown up. I think she's a daddy's girl. I am happy to see that Phil just didn't give up!

Phil birdies 15-now 10 under and t5...6 under overall. Great to see him play so well to finish out.

Dang Phil, just a day late....would have been nice yesterday...and could have made a good run today. Nice finish (let's add a few more).

I agree. Wish he could have had a couple of these days but it should be his best St Andrews finish.

Geesus... typical Phil, seems like all his decent rounds are like that....string a nice lead along and drop the shots on a double or triple.
ugh.

Couldn't the ball have easily hit the building and bounce back in fairway..No that would mean some actual LUCK.

Re: OPEN championship final round 2015
Ugh....triple at 17....cuts his 6 under round in half...just missed birdie at 16 too...plus a number of malleable birdies early in round....could have been a 62 and now no better than a 68/69...story of the last few years

Sucks to give half of your effort away on 1 hole

Re: OPEN championship final round 2015
He could have posted a number. If -12 or 13 wins this ill be sick as im sure Phil would be too. A top 10 would have at least given Phil some credit that he still has it. Oh well......

Re: OPEN championship final round 2015
The road hole got PHIL for a 7
-10 likely would not have done it but PHIL had it going.

Id like to see Phil score the lowest of Butch's boys. Looks like Rickie is only one who has a shot at it .

SCOTT finished bogey par bogey bogey Double. Worse than 2012 when he handed it to Ernie.

Phil got a top 20. Without the triple he'd have had a top 10. Butchs star.

Scott with his +5 over the last few holes certainly collapsed.
Kudos to Scott Johnson
