Waste Management 2nd round 2019

PHIL really had a stress free round of 69 on Thursday. The only bogie was a result of a bogie from the fringe when he was 26 feet from the pin. He gets up and down 95% of the time from there. He has a wild drive on #18 but made birdie so that's a breakeven. He had 4 or 5 putts that could have or should have fallen iin.

That is golf and hey a 62 would smooth that out today!!!

Phil is driving the ball horribly, cost him a stroke on the par5, luckily made par. Now out to the left again...jiminy crickets man, why can't you fix that.

Well, left again, this time into the water.... looks like he's going no where today.

He is playing horrible on a course he loves. The par 5s are killing him. Losing strokes to the field. He obviously cant take a week off plus if he doesnt he says body cant recover. Catch 22 I guess

He is very close to the 'cut line' and don't know how the 2nd waive will perform to move the cut line up.

3 bogies in a row? Wow, on short par-4 17, Phil chipped it across the green and over it to the other side....had to chip back and overshot the flag by 15 feet and missed coming back. Phil be going home tonight.

Hole 18 he's in the deep rough past the church pews on the left...… LEFT AGAIN!!

I don't know if he's going to survive this round or make the cut. Maybe he doesn't want to at this point.

Phil’s actually driving the ball pretty well (for him); good to see his swing speed up. Every other aspect of his game sucks at the moment, unfortunately.

Focus is gone. I actually wonder if he wants to make the cut .
I'm sure hes assuming JTAnd Rickie going low and barring a miraculous final 6 holes hes going to be way behind.

He's acting like he wants to be at a Super Bowl party rather than there. Pitiful. Sad to see, but next time will be different, hopefully. Go Rickie!

Phil plays Pebble next week. Then a week off then defends WGC title in Mexico

OK, Phil's out so let's do it Rickie!! He let it slip out of his hands once here already, let's take this one!! I can't believe he's sharing a house with Justin and they're fighting neck and neck.
