So far PHIL has had some great chances for Bird but has only connected on one short putt

Gee whiz... 170 yrds to pin, on second cut, clean lie and nothing is on the green? bunker? Not playing so sharply.

JT always a threat. I knew Rickie would do well after playing lousy last week. Phil needs to get to -3 or 4 . . 18th is tough but 15 through 17 is possible. . Am I dreaming . Lol

-3 could be worst-actually he missed a ton of putts--could have been a 65 without no sweat

I think unless he pulls a -6 tomorrow, he's out of it, just playing for a good position finish. Three guys a -7 and more right behind....some of them are going to have good day tomorrow and the lead will still be decently large. Yes, from what I saw, if some of those putts that burned the edge/lipped went in, he'd have been right in the mix.
