very easy scoring conditions today

Contrary to what the Fake News media was saying, high winds were NEVER forecast today. Highest I saw was gusts to 20 mph with steady winds no higher than 12 mph

Phil !!! What the hell kind of drive was that on 18?

They said that through 7 holes, he had the worst of the worst.  Whiff evidently in the woods on the first hole.  I guess the weather was terrible.  After the start, he did battle back a bit.  He can now concentrate on the US Open and hope for a different result. Maybe he needs to ditch the driver like Reed did.

Well, his 'whiff' was cause by hitting the tree on the way down, so I can understand that to a degree.

Yea, it's killing me how nice the conditions have gotten for the leaders, everyone throwing in birdie putts, ugh.

Never seen such a screwed up weather forecast .these guys got it made. Granted Phil didn't have it this week but these guys got soft conditions and no wind. Geezzzzz

there never was a screwed up weather forecast.. I've been checking all week. These are the winds that have ALWAYS been forecast

What you were hearing of high winds was simply fake news

Phil did it to himself. If he didn't shoot a 79, he would of played later. There are no excuses or "what ifs." Phil is going to be 48 and who knows if he can put 4 great rounds together oin a major. Many of the golfers out there are better than Phil. Maybe in two years Phil can win some majors on the Senior Tour. Stricker is having success.

Reed is going to shoot 22 under par this week

Reed made two eagles today--PHIL lost his heart with the driver on #9---Everything since then has been downhill

Heart break at #1 today--I heard about on the road this morning.

Right now PHIL is just trying to add to his Masters numbers-# of birds-# of eagles--he already had another Master's start and made cut.

I suspect PHIL is up there as well with the number of bogies-double bogies and others.
