I thought for sure it was going to clip and drop straight down,. Same with 14 Not sure what window he saw on 14, but it was the size of a softball.

Phil nearly hit the trunk on 11. ON 14, Phil probably went with the assumption that most of the tree that high up is air and the ball would most likely get through

and the mediots still think Kitty Kat will finish at Augusta ahead of Phil
they're excited because Kitty Kat finished T12, despite the fact he choked badly on the final 9. But will not give Phil credit for making Thomas sit his booty down where it belongs and finishing him off in a WGC

Well, there was a poll a little while back when Tiger started his 'comeback', who do you think will win first, Tiger or Phil? I think we got that one out of the way now :-)

I agree with you. Tiger lacks the intimidation factor with the new generation, and until he does something spectacular, I don't think anybody cares anymore. The Valspar Championship here in Florida has been advertising, "Are You Ready for Rory?" when pushing the tournament on tv ads. He's playing the tournament for the first time. The last tournament Tiger played, they showed every shot multiple times. I finally turned it off! We need some new sportscasters.

But Rory hasn't done anything lately that lives up to his own hype. He's been absent pretty much, even when he's been in the field.

Wow, Tiger speaking well of Phil on his win and how he's played lately. Not like the old Tiger to talk nicely like that of competitors. And on top of that, the detail that he mentions about Phil's win, you know he was watching the tournament...as he was recounting various shots on various holes, after Phil caught up on score he had a 'few free holes' remaining, and the 'hole-high' putt in the play off that Tiger "didn't know how that stayed out"....yea, Tiger was watching.

Although Phil has been working on his game for some time, I have to think that he's been motivated by Tiger's improved play of late.

He'll have to use his driver next week, and the field will be much stronger. He has shades of good play, but they (the media) idolize Tiger. Nauseating!

All I can say is thank goodness Phil won last week. As nauseating as this is with the media going nuts about Tiger it would have been even worse if Phil didn't get it done. It was really unbelievable that Tiger suddenly is in contention kind of stealing the spotlight from Phil.

Really amuses me that Phil has his number! I think Phil's win definitely got Tiger's attention and is propelling him to outgun Phil. Hope Phil is keeping his game sharp!
