WGC-MEXICO 2nd Round 2018
and PHIL has a decent 1st round. Slow starts have been a real hindrance to him in 2018. More zoom zoom at in the 1st round and he would be a winner in 2018. Catch up time!!

Pars 1st hole. Drivable par 4. Most are birding it.

Setting up lay up on par-5, let's do it Phil! Do you know if he wins $1-mill, he will shoot up to about 5th in Ryder Cup rankings?
Need to stay ahead of Chappel, Kizzire, Reed, and others around him on that list.

Made a bird but actually laid up on a par five!!!
PHIL has missed a few birdie putts but no damage to his card as of yet

Wow, nice lay up and approach to 1-yrd for birdie!!. Ugh, Shottracker changed it to 5 ft!!
Ughhh.... his putting. Missed a 5 footer!! After watching last weekend's tournament, no one was missing those, they were making 10 footers.

Getting sick and tired of hole outs and putts draining for everyone but Phil.

Gee, he should be double that by now. I think too little too late, going for another top-10 hopefully.

I get home and see a ball 5 feet from the whole after Buuba sends his approach well past, thinking its Phil, but no, he’s up against the tent canopy. But after a free drop, he chips it to 3 feet and makes par

It was Phil's provisional. He flat out bladed/shanked one from the fairway over the green. Great chip though.
