Darn it, could Phil have gotten a drop out of that trench his ball was in? What kind of PGA tour course has a fairway trench perfect landind distance off the tee?

Justin had to put his arm out to keep a camera man from stepping on his ball. Strange, but not a big deal. JMO

Thanks. And you are right, not that big of deal...

BTW, I think this win makes Phil a lock for the Ryder cup no matter what happens the rest of the year and on points. He is playing great, the best in years, and just showed everyone that he can still win when the stage is big.

Saying that, I hope there is more success to come and he makes the team on points...

Phil, who was in danger of falling out of the top 50, has moved up to 18th. Picked up 72 points with his win

Would be nice to see him make another run at #1. Maybe Phil was right last year when he mentioned his medical issue being the reason for his late fades

I'd say he's the favorite for Augusta now

Just saw this stat:

Phil has now gone T-5, T-2, T-6, Win in his last four starts. First such run of consecutive top-10s his career.

Id rather he play Bay Hill and skip the Match Play. Too much of a crap shoot there with their pods format

Phil's interview. About 8min in he said the 2nd on 11 was dead at the pin and hits the tree and goes into the bushes. Thought it looked solid from behind.

Should have moved the gallery back further.  Had it landed in the fairway, he likely would not have had a bogey. Good stuff on Phil talking to the gallery in Spanish, video of him helping move the cords, and also of him being so cordial to Thomas. I think this was good for Thomas and the young guys. I know it was good for Phil! He feels like a stud right now. LOL

I stand corrected, I thought he overcooked the draw.

Phil's 4th shot was AWFUL on 11. He nearly hit the tree. Missed his spot by a good 3-4 yards
