Pebble Beach 3rd round 2018

and PHIL is really at Pebble Beach today!!! Hopeful for a great score!!!

Tough track, but one he knows well.

We need DJ to have a bad round. He just had short eagle putt on 2nd.

but DJ bogied too, so he's only -1 on day so far.

After watching #6, I am out of here. 10foot for eagle and 3 putts.

PHIL!!!.... why can't you see those breaks.  3-putts a 4-5 foot eagle putt to make par.  Saw him aim wrong both putts.... 1st was above the hole and the green was tilted down/right toward the water, so I said left edge should break to the center....and he putts to the center and breaks off the right edge....then coming back, I said same thing, right edge that should break to the center and he sends it towards the center and edges off the left edge....ugh.

That just blew his mind and focus now.

What a terrible 18th hole. Rory penalty and birdies. Phil iron off tee and terrible wedge ends 44 hole bogey free streak.. Now 5 back. Likey too far.

I think he'll play well tomorrow. I was impressed at how well he hung in there. Could not have been easy with Rory playing so poorly and 2 amateurs. He's still in good shape if he can rally tomorrow. He got the course at it's windiest and coldest. Hope he plays well tomorrow. I wonder if Amy is there.

He needs a spectacular front 9 tomorrow.. Phil also needs some lucky breaks which he never seems to get. .....ever!
