Got home late last night. Phils putter killed his round. I spoke to Andrew Getson and he certainly agreed Phils putted aweful so far. I gave my unsolicited opinion that playing with Na and Reed was a detrament. I NEVER SAW 2 PLAYERS TAKE SO MUCH TIME!!! Getson agreed hard to get in a rhythm the way the guys played. You can't see it as much on TV as when you are there. It was extremely hot and many times Phil had to wait for both guys taking forever especially on putts. Reeds caddy actually lays down on the green at times to read the putts.Didn't realive Reed was that bad. KEVIN I thought was supposed to improve on pace of play but no way!!! Getson is encouraged with how Phil is striking it. Said Phil really likes TPC Boston so hopefully something good will happen soon.Getson also said Phil had a really full week no doubt Barclay's corporate stuff. Even many fans were getting annoyed at those 2 guys.

Tough bogey. he's been striking it well but those chips off the green haven't really been Phil-Like this week.. Been so worried about tee ball that chips aren't up to his caliber

Phils been hitting driver off tee on 18. Goes conservative with iron an makes double.

PHIL just IMO assumed that his tee shot at #18 would be so easy with that iron

A lot of good golf here today but faltered at the end.

Sad way to finish. He let it go, and that's a real problem for him not to have held on. Early start again tomorrow. Geez! I know that he's more disappointed than we are, but it seems to take him awhile to get back when he's been off the tour for awhile.

Ugh, can't watch him when he plays like that.

Better start playing some better golf soon or don't want Love to start thinking "Good golly, I'm stuck with Phil for Ryder Cup, how do I play him?"

Remember the PHIL cycle. During a three week cycle PHIL always takes a week to warm up. He vacations and now we are seeing the rust.

What is tough for a PHIL fan is that -4 could be right up there at the end of the day.

Phil can benefit with a good round in this format, even without contending. He started high enough to stay in the game, I think.
