Barclays 2015 Round Three

In many ways the 1st two rounds of this week symbolize the last year for PHIL. Oh so close but yet not quite there. He is close enough to the lead that two really super rounds can win this thing. Maybe it will happen.

Phil is driving and putting well, but his iron play has been off. Hasn't stuck anything yet.

Followed Phil Wednesday thru Friday.He played great Wednesday and first 9 holes on Thursday.Butch and Phil were very excited at how good he was playing after the pro am. He just can't seem to maintain the good play for a complete tournament anymore.

I ran into TR Reinman Phils PR guy and tactfully brought up the stock trading issue re surfacing and he says all BS Phil totally did nothing wrong and they are trying to get this Icahn guy and it has been a bit of a distraction for Phil. As far as the arthritis goes "it hasn't been an issue for a long time" Phil feels great . Apparently they caught it early enough. I asked if Amy would come in on the weekend if Phil was in contention and he said no because Amanda has her drivers license and Amy likes to stay close to home and the kids are getting ready for school
Phil will be going to Canada soon his golf course is running behind schedule. if I think of anything else Ill post.

Great stuff. His last bogey barely lipped out today and should have been a par. I read about the golf course and I think it's really going to be something. Phil has big plans for it. I ll bet Phil gets disgusted having his name thrown around and having his reputation tainted. Glad for the news Joan. One of these days Phil will put it all together.

Phil's Round 3 Theatrics.... backwards shot out of grass bunker. He must have gone for the short par-4 and ended up in a nasty downhill lie on the back raised part of the grass bunker. I think he ends up making par....but it would have been nice if it landed on the green the first try.
