Steady after yesterday's great round. I expected him to slow down a bit today. He's playing great. Exciting stuff. Hope he can hang in there for 4 rounds, but like you said, he'll be under attack!

Just got up to see Phil shot under par for today, very happy. Will be interesting to see how the afternoon golfers do.

I got up early (~3:15) and watched for an hour to see Phil who was at -9 already, make 2 consecutive birdies to get to -11. Went to bed and got up and saw that he was -10 and Stenson making a charge. Great playing by Phil in the weather....wish it could have rained all day long for the later guys too.

Anyone else getting a 'screen controlling popup' that won't go away? (you have to use Alt-Ctl-Del, click on Task Manager, => select Internet Explorer (or your browser), and => close in order to get out of it....otherwise there is a message that you have been infected by a virus and you need to do X, Y, Z to get rid of it.... randsome-ware malware on this message board web site. It isn't the first time I got hit by it (just happened about 4-5 times in a row trying to open the link to this web site).

I think there is malware (randsome ware....they hold you randsome until you pay a fee) associated with this web site that hosts this message board. I've seen this before and it's not only annoying but I could imagine some people actually call the number and pay up (I'd be more worried that they'd take the credit card number and charge on it elsewhere).
If you have a problem, you can try to 'system restore' to an earlier state, that can get rid of something that was deployed on the C: drive.

I only get it on my phone and not on my laptop. It's annoying but I don't always get it. Phil said in his first post round interview that he feels less pressure because he has already won this event. Interesting.

I would recommend Firefox or Chrome. Then google " Ad Block Plus for Chrome or Firefox" without quotes and for whichever browser you use.. Install it. It blocks all the ads on these kind of websites. I can't believe how much crap I don't see when I end up testing certain sites on Internet Explorer. This page, Facebook and many others are loaded with crap down the sides/bottom.

Just Googled it. I'm surprised it's free. I have both Internet Explorer and chrome on my computers. Chrome is the better working one lately. For some reason? ? Thanks for the tip Otto. Sometimes I feel like I'm in kindergarten with this stuff.

No problem. The add-on really does make a huge difference on alot of sites(especially free ones driven by ads).. Alot of these places only care about the revenue and not about potential risks they could cause the people visiting the sites.
