His driving kills him, been so for ever. In the past, the courses may not have been as difficult and his recovery skills better. But since he never addressed his erratic driving, he isn’t on fairways, and he cant hit greens close enough for his putting to save him. He is going to have a lousy remaining career on PGA unlike the shorter hitters who have survived long and late in their 40’s because they are in the fairway more often.

Making the cut on the number still would give him no shot at winning IMO. He hates playing with no shot at winning. He blew it yesterday. 2 more days on this course wont help him on a links course in 2 weeks. Hopefully he can get hot before the season ends. It just needs to be 4 consecutive rounds .
