Phil is 'nervous' heading into the PGA

Phil is all 'excited about his swing speed', but he's never been able to control his direction and his driving accuracy is worse.... if you lengthen your drives, that simply puts you further into the left/right junk.  

I don't understand his giddiness about swing speed if he has done nothing about shot dispersion. That area of New York has had a lot of rain and is described as 'lush'.

I was just going to post this article...Phil's accuracy was around 50%. Last week it was 35%. He said his putting was coming around yet he putted horrible in Charlotte...I'm all for staying positive and I'm sure every sports shrink says to put a positive spin on things but gosh he really needs to turn this around. He said he plays better when swing speed is up. When he swings fast. Was that in his 20s?? Phil always seems to get up off the mat I hope he can turn it around.

I'm going to watch the practice rounds at Betpage Tuesday and Wednesday. Cant wait to see if he can hit a fairway.

Fantastic, hope you have a great time. I used to go school in Long Island (CW Post campus) and I used to treck all over the place there, from Manhatten to the North/South shore, to the Hamptons (out of my league).
