Well what can we say....Phil has another chance at a major title.

66 to tie and 65 wins it out right.

I had a feeling earlier in the week that Phil would win with a 64 on sunday just like Player in 1978. So, I'm sticking with that. Can't wait to get this started!

Gary Player tweeted that wearing Black today was a good idea. No surprise coming from the Black Knight LOL Maybe some good Karma going Phil's way. Pink shirt in honor of Arnie worked and now Gary Player's Black shirt and a 64!

Can't wait for Phil's final round to get started. Hopefully the green speeds are up.

Playing in the group in front of Spieth could work to Phil's advantage. Let Spieth hear a bunch of roars up ahead and well see how he handles it.

Phil had a good lie in the bunker at 3 after a nice tee shot but hit it a little low out of trap and it hit fringe and kicked left instead of rolling towards hole...bit of a bad break which he can't really afford....had 17 feet for birdie and missed it high. Rose makes birdie on first two holes and Spieth only pars 5...Spieth at 17 under, Rose 14 under and Phil 12 under.

Phil just missed an amazing lag putt that broke 25 feet at 4 and of course Spieth just makes a birdie at 3 from 20 feet...he has curled and lipped in so many this week it is dizzying. If his putter was just off a bit this would be another story but unfortunately Phil will likely get another close but not quite Major finish.

Phil bunkered off tee at 5 and wedged it short of green...has 45 yards for up and down...just not quite getting all the breaks he needs right now and Spieth is not backing up.

Ugh....Phil again does not get the break...hits a spinning wedge that side spun passes hole and rolls several feet by...has 18 feet uphill for par.

Man...Phil is just not getting any luck...just.a few feet off on each shot it seems...just flew it right at pin at 6 but it goes long and Phil has really tough pitch...just not his day so far

Phil putted it and almost made it...needs one to fall...Rose just irritates me for some reason...he is very likable and respectable but seems to always be in Phil's way....Spieth chunks wedge at 5 and will at least bogie...Rose hit a stellar bunker and likely pars. Need to worry about Rose and Spieth now...Spieth 6 up on Phil and Rose 3 up

Phil is very lucky Hootie is not around. He'd be dead with the way he is driving it today. 0 for 5 in hitting fairways

Phil done in by bad tee shots and poor positioning.bogies 9 as Spieth birdies 8 and now 6 back...needs back 9 miracle now

Can't find the fairway today, while Speith and Rose are playing like LPGA'ers, tee-to-fairway-to-green.

Phil and Charlie are the only ones in the top 10 players that are not under par today, ugh.

I was desperately hoping Phil could win this. It would take the pressure off the whole year and if he goes bust at US open at least he snagged one. Going to need a miracle and major collapse by leaders now
