and PHIL made a huge run on the final Six holes on Friday.He still has game and he made some big putts. Maybe just maybe!!

Looks like he has the same partners today. He loves the competition with Jon Rahm, who after his round yesterday said that he'd chant for Phil if he could. LOL

Phil enjoys this pairing. He needs to prove to himself as well as the golf world he can have a great weekend. When asked about Rahm going in water on 17 he said he didn't see it ...he had his own issues to worry about. Lol

Phil is leaving himself too many stressful par putts so far. Approaches are bad

if Phil could hit the ball even poorly this week, he'd win by 15 the way he's putting

He got up and down from 249 yards for a birdie

the telecast is available online and COMMERCIAL FREE until basketball ends

Phil is dry on the par5 with water on left ; I think Xander is wet

277 back and hits an iron and flairs it left. I had a bad feeling about this hole. 277 is a layout with a semi island green

-1 on 13/15 today and that's with 2 penalty strokes.

Good round . I am still stewing about 15th and 16th.
Just hope lead isn't better than -14

Let's hope Phil's nerves stay in check tomorrow because he has a real shot at winning this tournament.

Another wow finish!!! PHIL-Rahm-Xander three days in a row and some golf!!!

Can’t believe Ricky got the lead back, but Phil 2 back is right in there, but so many people up there, it’s a horse race.

Win or lose, Phil's proving that he still has game and it surely makes it tons more fun watching golf. He said that crowd spurred him on. That, and playing with Rahm were big factors thus far, IMO. Hope for today!

Do they go out in 2's or 3's today? If 3's, then Phil will likely be in the next to last group.

Phil is in the next to last group with Bryson and Xander again.
