Got to love the Ryder Cup.  Not long after posting this, the momentum swung in a big way towards the US.  Some great golf being played...

Hope Sergio's unreal break doesn't break Phil's spirits.

and now Phil loses 2 holes in a row. His body language even looks different after thinking Sergio was OB and gets a kick on 10 to be 60yards ahead of him.

Great job by all the golfers, way to bring the cup back home.  Phil played great, best since the British Open, but it wasn't meant to be today.  He deserves a lot of credit for the US winning, beyond just winning points.  U.S.A......

What a round....making 10 birdies and not winning...or losing (half).  Same can be said for Sergio.  Probably the best round of the day, although they'll talk of Reed-McIlroy, but man, DJ what the heck? And you just know Westwood's mind was jibberish entering the 18th hole after yesteday's poor putting, and being 2up with 3 to go, going into 18 Even....ugh.

I didn't see Amy and the kids but evidently they were there following Phil. Lots of wonderful articles about him out there. His play was awesome!

I only saw it again when I re-watched the presser from yesterday after the conclusion of play. May be on you tube. Thought it was cute when the champagne cork popped and he said it was his cue to shut up! LOL You can tell the guys love him. Bet he's exhausted today. Amy said that the hasn't been able to sleep.

I guess this was the best we could hope for to end the season.Phil hitting fairways on Sunday and making putts. The press has been great. Chamblee had to finally give phil credit. But as the publicity hound he is I bet secretly he wanted the task force/ to fail so he could gloat. The pressure phil was under was enormous and he really produced.

I watched again today, but I googled Phil and read all posted articles about him! Amazing! I wasn't sorry that Westwood lost after he popped off so much about the Task Force and all of the pressure they'd be under blah blah. He should have been practicing his putting! Not sure why Phil and Sergio aren't more friendly but I don't think Sergio's ego could easily deal with Phil. Phil is an unbelievable talent. He unfortunately played 2 great rounds this year against 2 guys playing their best. Wish he could have won the open and also his Sergio match.
