I was looking at the five-under number for Phil to get to heading into the final round, the double on 3 took that away. Overall he's putting and scrambling very well. Didn't really stick any iron approaches stiff today.

Maybe if Phil can start striking the ball better he makes a run at this thing.

Cant believe Poulter hasn't MADE A MISTAKE.

Aggressive start for Phil. Absolutely hammers his drive within twenty yards of the first green and cashes in from 11 feet for an opening bird.

Beautiful chip almost drops, gimme par from a couple inches,.

Another big drive, this time he splits the fairway at the par 5 third.

Best shot of the year so far for Phil IMO. Draws a hybrid from 244 to 12 feet. What a golf shot!

Poulter shanked it into the water....Tee shot, drop, hitting 3....has to get it close enough to make par otherwise he's dropping 2 strokes. Phil, not a good time to make bogie as Poulter is about to drop strokes......ARGHHHHHH.

The bogie at 6 was painful but PHIL is within smelling distance!!!!
