and yes the wind lightened up in the afternoon. PHIL has a good round in the wind in the morning but the breeze dried up a bit in the afternoon. Still a super round and yes PHIL is smiling

The wind might determine who gets the best draw but PHIL is playing well. Needs to finish strong today

Rickie did really well today as did a few other guys but tons of guys shot +5 or more today-12 of them so far. So this is a course of extremes

A good round tomorrow could put him back in contention given how hard the course is playing. He may get to play before the afternoon winds increase

In his defense, he had the bad side of the draw, but his putting was not good. He wasn't the only one missing putts. Keegan, Zach, Rory, and lots of other good players went home, so at least he's still there. Nobody has run away with this, but Rickie soon will if he doesn't cool off. I get the feeling Phil is trying too hard. I think he'll get it worked out.
