Is Phil a lock for the final event?

PHIL is projected at 15 right now and that is where is started the week.

In theory if guys who were ranked 31 to 46 more or less finished in that reverse order say #46 won, #45 finished 2nd and so forth then PHIL would get knocked out.

The problem is that other then Castro the leaders are also doing well in Fedex points so PHIL is likely to be quite safe

OB on 3rd hole be lucky to end up with double. This is such bizarre playing these last 2 tournaments .

Frustrating week for Phil. He had such a great finish to the opening round, only to lose major ground in the afternoon. Looks like a drive OB on 12, so no crazy low round to get into contention today.

If he gets there, East Lake will be his last shot at a W. Can't believe he hasn't won a tournament this year yet. Incredibly disappointing.

Can't birdie the par 5. 15th again today. The easiest ranked hole. The pressure of having the best stats in quite a while and he has not produced a win have gotten in his head. Hope he gets back on track for Ryder cup. Although I'd take a win at Tour championdhip as my 1st choice

Phil looks totally disinterested after that 3 putt. Luckily 1 hole left.

Better get his driving figured out among other things.
