It looks like we are seeing the usual second nine slide by Phil. It is becoming a 2016 staple

Phil is struggling on the final 9. Ill be happy if he can finish at -2.

it has been weird how his final 9 holes he backs up no matter the degree of difficulty for those 9 holes

Decent round in the wind. Only six people are under par and PHIL is one of them.

Pretty solid round overall. Once again he struggled finishing his round, but starting with a 69 in windy conditions is not bad at all. Something around 67 tomorrow should position Phil nicely for the weekend.

Rickie said that he felt fortunate to have gotten to play this afternoon, which wasn't easy, but the wind was down compared to morning.
