after Phil bogies 17, I leave to go to my computer room. Then I hear my wife say "Oh no Phil, not again", so I'm curious what trouble he got into on 18? Keeps stubbing his toe.

Not much on 18-- went through the fairway to the rough==with the tucked pin he had no chance for a bird. Not a disaster for him--easy par

Phil will be paired with Justin Thomas tomorrow. Bones is caddying for JT. Many think it's great. I really don't think Phil needs that distraction now that he's finally in contention. That being said I hope he beats JT and I like JT.

Do you think that Phil and Bones parted amicably? I don't think it's great either, but maybe Phil will be relaxed and play, showing Bones that he did the right thing going with his Bro.

I think they were getting tired of each other and Bones was too much in Phils face ....as was exhibited at the Players on hole 17 where their banter got caught on camera. It was a 4 year winless drought with Bones when they parted. It was time for a change IMO.

I agree. Wonder if their families are still friends.

Amy and Jenn were good friends im sure they are . Hey Bones owes a lot to Phil. He never would have gotten the announcers gig if not for Phils stelkar career.

I think the change was good for all involved!! Its just kinda weird that they are playing golf-about 3 miles as the crow flies from I played today! Its weird not being able to watch PHIL. I shot a 78 today--the tees I play from are about 5900 to 6000 yards (I am 63) so PHIL did much better then I today. I missed a ton of putts today but mostly kept the ball in play. 13 greens in regulation but I three putted a few times and made one long birdie putt.
