and Memphis is actually one of the oldest continuous PGA golf stops. Hogan played here in 1959/1960. Nelson's 11 in a row streak ended here in 1945. I can't believe we can't see PHIL in person.

I will be on the course myself today--hot muggy and I think we might escape rain for today. Not sure about Friday/Saturday

How do you get 'on the course'? Sneak in?, lol. Or they just don't advertise it.

Nah, I was annoyed at the bogies...sloppy. But nice come back... and even a 26-foot putt for birdie on the last, nice make!!

Decent 1st round. Should have been a couple shots better if he could improve with the putter. Tomorrow they start early due to weather.  Phil better move up the board tomorrow.  If he doesn't show us form this week on a course he loves then.......????

I don't know about starting early to avoid weather. Radar looks like it will roll into Memphis early morning, hitting in ~6 hrs (10:45 pm now) and lasting 2-3 hrs?

Yes yes we are expecting rain today--of course that has been the story for three days now and it has been very very widely scattered. We had a downpour at our house and two miles away at the golf course there was not a drop. Then it was reversed in the afternoon.
