Genesis - Round 3 and 4

Phil starts on back nine and reaches the short par4 green and makes putt for eagle.
But later on par 5, he hit bunker on 3 and got about 6 footer for par and ...... bogie. Good golly Phil, i hate that claw grip.

Hopefully he feels better after a good sleep, but had to get up early. He played a bit lackluster late yesterday.

Phil... Hole 4, par-6, to 8-feet, below the hole.... better make a birdie!! ….and.....he...….. makes par, ugh. He can't buy a putt.

LA story 2019

I know it wouldn't be right but this event was a last addition after he MC in Scottsdale so IMO he should have withdrew after his win . The press would have barbequed him. His whole MO was conserving energy to be sharper and play better. I hope he plays well in Mexico but he has to be fatigued. My guess is after Mexico he wont play again until match play.

A long 2 weeks of bad weather can drain a body and soul. Hopefully it's warm in Mexico?

Phil made a lot of lengthy par saves and a couple birdies on hid back 9. Gotta feel good about that. Unfortunately we only saw the final bogey.

hard to say how Phil putted.

PGA Tour PBP was worthless. Check out his last hole. It has him missing an 18 footer for par when it was a 3 footer
