Genesis Open 2nd Round 2019

and PHIL will be out in a bit. Play resumes in a couple of hours. Finally some good LA weather today--sunny in the 60s

No one has technically finished their second round as the rain delay on Thursday and more rain on Friday really slowed things down. PHIL will be out in about 4 hours and I hope to be out in chilly weather myself today playing golf!!

Phil due out in half an hour.  Cut moved down to 'Even' par right now.  Tiger is at 'Even' with 3 holes to play.  Phil will start at +1, so he will need a sub-par round (hopefully at least by several strokes under par) to make the cut. Driving accuracy is paramount on this course, otherwise you'll be trying to get up-and-down for par.


Looks like Phil will at least get the benefit of good weather for the 2nd round....it looked miserable for Tiger's group yesterday, but somehow, some players coped well (Justin Thomas).

Very nice.... 3 birdies in the first 4 holes. I was starting to wonder, how are other people doing so well (Rory went -8 on 2nd round).

I hope ShotTracker is not correct (again) for hole #5. Looks like there's a mess where his tee ball landed. And others have taken 3rd shots on green and Phil's ball still stuck where tee shot landed? Huh?

Mo jo buster. Misses 7fter and then bogey from fairway.

Phil wasn't even going to play this tournament. I think he'd rather MC than make it on the cut line and have no shot at a win. Long days for a middle of the pack finish wont serve him well for next week.

Phil 3 whacked 17 for the second straight day. Then missed the green on 18 from the middle of the fairway by over 40 yards

Buffet of sorts.....Some ugly long putts that left him so far away for birdie putt, some missed short putts (early par3 6-ft for birdie and missed), and some ugly iron shots from fairway (18-th hole).

Okay PHIL made the cut--lots of birds--too many bogies
