Please don't tell me he's 'focusing on practicing shots for the Ryder Cup', lol. Just downright horrible, like the last tournament (except for the last day when he was out of it anyway).

If that's what he does, he should just retire and given up his spot on the Ryder Cup to someone who still is 'hungry' enough that works their butt off.

Wow, Tiger tied for lead at -5. Tiger looks like he deserves the Captain's pick and is living up to it. Phil is looking more like he should have been moved over to Assistant Captain, exchanging places with Tiger.

Wasted a 324 yrd. Drive in the fairway and pars the 18th par 5. Tiger eagles it. His putting was horrible for a guy who sits at 4th in birdie average and dropped last week from 2nd in strokes gained putting to 4th. His only 2 birdies were chip ins.

Nice to see you playing. How's the game coming along. Mine is as good as it's ever been, but it 'ain't pretty', I just get it done somehow, someway. I been bad-mouthing my graphite irons I got fitted for earlier in the spring and haven't touched them in 2 months, then went out Saturday and Sunday and shot 88 and 80 (my low for the entire year or two). I was previously using a strong grip, squaring the club face and making snap hooks with those graphites….then I decided to try a weak grip and positioning the club at setup a bit on it's heel and allowing me to swing a bit more freely....and getting farther shots with height, going over trees now instead of hitting into them. Our club is playing a 2 team Ryder Cup style (everyone split up among 2 teams, separate club pro's in charge of each) for 2 days in October, with matching shirts for each team member...can't wait.

I hope Phil shows up today, gee whizz.
