When does Phil play next?
I would have thought given his last major misses, and poor performance at the WGC, he'd be signing up to play the very next tournament since he got the weekend off to practice. Perhaps not as hungry as one would think. Life of comfort....Stricker needs hungry players!

Phil is a lock to play the first 2 playoff tournaments. If he played this week that would be 5 in a row. Even the young guys don't do that. He has 2 events to qualify for the team. Surprisingly he remained 17th on the points list even with a MC.

Re: When does Phil play next?
President's Cup list and those playing (*) in the Wyndham Championship tournament this week. Phil's missed cuts don't amount to a 'full week' of playing....is he HUNGRY enough to go the distance and show he 'wants in' on the President's Cup? Some above and below him are trying to solidify their positions. Good luck Phil. I'm thinking Gary Woodland and Charles Howell as Captain's picks from where they've been ending up on the leader board on sundays in the last 2 months.

Poor Ernie Els needs to Win this week to get into the top 125 to play in the playoffs. As bad as we think he's been he still is better than many big names that are younger. But obviously still not where Phil wants to be .

Re: When does Phil play next?
Well, I know Els said he was probably playing in his last Master's unless something like that happens. Not sure of the other majors (he won the British Open not too long ago, so does that last until he's 60 or something?). Does he have PGA tour status as a 20-game winner like Davis Love?...is a full-PGATour-card member for life if he has 20 PGA wins?

Re: When does Phil play next?
Phil tiger Davis and VJ are the only ones with lifetime status active players on pga tour.. I thint PGA and Masters winners are the only majors with lifetime winner exemptions. Not sure but think other 2 majors are 5 years
