Phil has tap in eagle. Could it be he's relaxed now that he's out of contention. Just saying. ....manager said he's putting too much pressure on himself.

Amazing how he's come back. Very unlucky on several putts.

Just checked scores and was hoping Rahm would win. Saw he went Bogey-Bogey to basically hand it to DJ.. Also glad to see Phil battle. I know its easy to say he fell under pressure. I look at it like it's amazing and shows his skill to still be -10 this week with everywhere he hit it.

Top ten and a lot of solid golf from PHIL

Frankly his most consistent start since forever=just no wins.

Phil proves again he can hang with the young guys. He just needs to continue to work on his driver. His interview he said he knows what he needs to do. He will work the next 2 weeks and then play Match play Houston and the Masters

Well, he might have gotten away with it if the fairways hadn't been so narrow and missed drives so punishing. I thought that Westwood really had a meltdown. Phil hung right in there, when you consider that this is an elite field. I didn't like the way Justin Thomas acted. Very immature and like a brat. I think he's a good friend of Jordon Spieth. Rickie seems to be friends with them as well, but Rickie is highly regarded as a nice guy and gentleman by most people I've heard speak of him. Jack N. is a big fan. The fame and money is heady stuff for the young ones and it must be difficult for them to not act entitled sometimes. I hope that Phil hangs in there and finally gets a win. He acted like he had fun there, and it was a tough week with Bones being ill. I wonder if Amy was with him?

Lol, I've said that 3, 4, 5 years ago about 'needs to work on straightening out his driver problems'.....but he never does, or at least only does so for a few rounds and then reverts back to old form. But he didn't do any worse than Rory, Speith, etc.

Ah, Rahm already won and let him have a little heartache before his next one. I'm starting to become a DJ fan....he has really worked on his short game and putting, leaving his long drives alone.

I don't follow golf much and didn't realize he won. Just knew that DJ had won alot, so I was thinking Rahm was a "nobody' type

There are a lot of ways to spin this week . If Phil had just saved 1 stroke a round he'd have been in a playoff. His putter was very good but when GIR is poor you cant win. All in all a good week but Phil doesnt care about top 10s

Phil moved to #19 OwGR. Good to be inside the top 20 again.

Great interview. Can't wait for part 2. I know I'm bias but Phil is so interesting to listen too. Feherty did a great job !

Phil is the best interview ever! He really seems to love life. A real goofball some of the time. Bet he keeps Amy on her toes! Very Happy

I think these Feherty interviews are going to be classics when these guys are either gone or using walking canes. Imagine if someone had something like this of the old guys for an hour at a time. He has really covered a lot of people central to the game in this era.

I agree. I always loved the Wonderful World of Golf series when they reran them, too. I heard on TGC this week-end that Feherty's interview with Phil broke his ratings record for the show. Bet tonight will be great. I was hoping that Hadwin would come in 2nd to Patrick Cantlay, but it was not to be this week-end. I always like golf so much better with Phil in the field, even though I risk heartache every time. LOL
