Phil needs to contend this week. He said he is still riding the high from the Ryder Cup lets see that mojo continue this week!!

ouch I am back and PHIL has more or less three putted twice for bogies on 1st two holes

Seeing the low scores (-10, -8, -8, wow) I was thinking great, Phil could do well here....until I saw his bogie-bogie start.

Lots of Phil talk among announcers. Phil determined to fix driver.

Phil never played this course before and is obviously doing the pga a favor for playing in the fall. Plus his management company has a connection with Safeway. Would have loved a -5 start. But looks unlikely. Guys went low today.

Rex Hoggard said Getson isnt with Phil this week which really confirms Phil season will start in January. In post round interview he said been very high emotional end to season and had a busy off week. He may surprise us and have a good week but this is more a PR thing.
