Safeway Open Round Three

and as soon as Round Two ends the next one will start.

PHIL at -6 needs a couple of super rounds to get close to the leaders

still one never knows

He always plays the big events, and others have won at the lesser ones to break a non-winning streak. Wish he'd play more off the beaten path tourneys now and then.

Since he is so happy with his iron play he should play shorter courses where he can use 3 wood instead of driver. I am sick of hearing about his winless drought. He had his chances last season but never got a break or someone had to make history to beat him. Not sure what to expect this weekend. He said he was busy last week doing corporate stuff and was running on adrenaline. Not thrilled with the lead being -15

Just missed an 8 footer for birdie, ugh....everyone else sinking long putts this week. He didn't miss many on last day of Ryder Cup.

Pga radio just said Phil hit 2nd out of rough over trees has 10 ft for eagle.

Yup PHIL made eagle then a bogie and then missed several putts

Now he has made several and is at -10

Phils trying too hard on final par 5 18th and making a mess. Par be a,miracle now.

Nope, makes bogie on the par-5, sloppy. Finishes at -9. Could have been much much better

Yes, I didn't realize how wet and sloppy until I saw some play later....was pretty nasty.
