Scottish Open Round 2 2016
While I sleep PHIL will be playing. I might add that Euro PGA apologized for the course setup today. The unexpected high winds were brutal from the back tees on several holes. I hope for better today or its on to Troon.

PHIL is on the cut line at +2 with 2 holes left. Announcers said cut mat go to +1 with afternoon wave yet to tee off.

Looks like 6 ft for birdie on 8th as Phil got lucky ball bounces off deep grassy hill. PHIL laughing as he knows he got lucky.

I hope to see highlights later as PHIL made an eagle plus three birds--should easily make cut

Glad to see Phil made the cut, with a stroke to spare. Looks like yesterday only 10 people played -2 or better, today with somewhat more benign conditions, there are already 30 people of -2 or better on the days' round.

Wow, nice to see a golf organization (EuroPGA) do that; seems like the USGA were un-apologetic for the US Open. And they said they anticipated sufficiently by slowing the greens down to 10 on the Stimp scale, which is more like our home course, lol.

I thought the same thing when I read that they'd apologized. Looks like Phil really got the wrong side of the draw. You can watch a replay of today if you want to see Phil, I think, at the beginning of the coverage. Well, IMO, Phil's round was better than it looks, as I awakened and thought I'd watch, and he was already 2 over thru 6-- 6 over. I thought good-bye and on to Troon, so I quit watching. I tuned in again much later towards the end of the round to see that he'd brought it back to +l. He'd made up 5 strokes since I quit watching! That was really good. He'd be in pretty good shape if he hadn't bogeyed 2 holes early, but then again, they said it was really cold when they started play early. I wish the wind would pick up. Even out the rounds, even though they moved the tees up today.
Looks like Phil is out with Henrik Stenson tomorrow, and I think their tee time is 6 am out time.
