Memorial round three 2016

and PHIL is nearly where we want him to be every week. Late in the day tee time!!! His 4 bogies ran the gamut on Friday--a poor drive here a weak second shot there and failures to get up and down as well. Overall his driving and ball striking was super. Yes he missed some putts but everyone did. He made a ton as well. So its time for a 66 today!!!

How about a 65!!

He is so over due for a low round. A pair of 65s on the weekend should do it.!!

Second shot flew in the hole. Spun out and may have went into the water

Phil has no luck.it could have easily been a hole out. His ball damaged the hole.

Pars on the 2 short par 4s and par 5s not good enough today. Got excited with an opening birdie and now he's in neutral.

Putter is ice cold. Phil is playing some very good golf in spurts, just not able to put together four rounds. At his age it shouldn't be surprising.

Misses a seven footer for birdie on 13. Needed that.

How is Phil 3rd on tour in strokes gained putting.???? If he can't putt on Saturday it's just tougher Sunday if he ever gets in contention

Awful, awful bogey on the short 14th. Even a top 10 finish unlikely now.

120 yrds in fairway on shortest hole and bogeys. I knew a bogey be coming. HE'S LOSING FOCUS he probably so ticked he can't score

If Phil can get to -10. and lead sta s at -14 that's the best we can hope for IMO

I was disgusted by today's coverage. Too many big egos in the broadcast booth and too many shots of the wrong people. Too many commercials and not enough shots that I wanted to see!

I complained on twitter to CBS after Phil hit his approach to 23 inches and we never saw anything. He was only 4 back you think he was +5 or something. Other people did as well. Not that it will help but I'm sure someone reads them

The leaders bogeyed in. Phil only 4 back. Hey we gotta chance:)

Ironically is only 4 strokes back instead of 5 back but he has a harder task tomorrow.
He now has 15 players ahead of him.
