Well looks like we only have shot tracker to follow the tournament. So when TGC comes on it will be half over and delayed coverage I assume because the Network CBS still comes on at 2:30. Wouldn't it be great if Phil could win this thing and then we get to watch a STRESS FREE victory!!

Par3, 14 ft below the hole and misses...sends it 5 feet by, that could have been a back breaker.

The weather wreaks havoc on arthritis. I know. He will never say it, but it has to be a factor. I think he's doing great. Jack said he didn't see him giving up this tour anytime soon. Early going, but I hope that he puts the pedal down. Seems to be a day for great scoring. Then again, this has never been a great course for Phil.

Seems like every player ahead of Phil is having a great chance at birdie. Tall task to pull out a victory today.

Phil is going to Oakmont tonight for 2 days of practice then St Jude and US open. Hope he isn't burnt out by US Open time. He had 2 weeks off wonder why he didn't check it out then.

Phil goes for green in 2 most guys playing 3 shots and just lands in bunker. He cant catch a break.

Sirius PGA Tour radio described the difference between fast greens (which they said PGA tour players like better than slow greens). They said the difference was, say between Stimp 13 and 8.... on a slow green from 50-feet away, you have to really smack the ball with the putter and that hard strike effort can easily take your putter off the intended line by just 1 degree, whereas a fast green, you simply have to tap your putter to get the ball rolling and more easily able to move it on the intended line. Still scary to putt on really fast greens.

I know you can't make all of them but When you are 4 back to start you gotta pretty muvh. Phil missed 9 and 11 ft birdies on 8 and 9.

Misses 11 ft par save. On 10th. This is unfortunately what I'm t a liking about. These are crucial pressure putts on Sunday.

Phil needs to beat JB and Reed to pad his Ryder Cup points. Luckily Rickie MCd

Another bogey, this time on a par 5.

Sunday pressure and frustration when things start to slip away is not a good combo. Sad to see a great player like Phil struggle in the final round.

Phil has was -13 with 12 holes left. Ok missed good birdie looks on 8 and 9 but now 2 bogeys. 45 Yr Old nerves can't take it. He was playing very good all week . Now it's crunch time and he's collapsing. It's the nerves and wanting too badly. Sad all around because as a fan you really get your hopes up. Painful to say this but he can't close the deal anymore
