Houston Round 3

Post by j58golf on Sat Apr 02, 2016 11:06 am

Phil is out with Marino and Toms 11:15 Eastern time. As he said with that twinkle in his eye during his interview I feel a low one out there.
We know this type of comment has come back to bite him in the past but this year his stats back it up Very Happy GO PHIL!!!!

A great start coming undone at the sixth. Massive slice OB; looking at a double.

PBP is a mess. Looks like 11 feet for a bogey or double.

So much for a low one today. A triple ends any chance of that. What a killer.

Triple. From the guy who said yesterday  he's got to stop doing those things.  I'm gutted right now.  Now he's steamed and god knows what the rest of the round will be .

Didn't learn a thing from the double on 6th yesterday just learned how to make a bigger number.

This is the crap that could happen next week if he's in contention . Bogeys OK but doubles and triples not. In 2012 at Augusta he tripled the 6th. Ball was stuck in bamboo tree. Bad bounce off a grandstand turned into a nightmare

In 3 rounds he's +6 on 6th. Bogey, double, triple. I'm sorry for being so steamed but HOW does a guy of Phils talent do that. What happened to learning from your mistskes???

Well if history can repeat itself the winner came from 6 back the last 2 years. I'd be happy with a top 5
