No, he was complimenting Phil on how he recovers from where he put the ball today.  When asked if he was complimenting his play, Colin corrected the other announcer and said, "no, I was NOT complimenting his play, I think even Phil would not be happy with his shots today, but I was impressed with how he recovered from where he placed his ball.... any other player in the field would not have broken 80 from the places Phil had to play from today."  Colin was complimenting Phil's uncanny way of recovering from bad positions.

I don't recall liking Colin some years back....but in recent years, when I've got to see more of him by his short announcer/analyst gigs, I'm kind of liking this guy.... he is even self-deprecating at times, has an English sense of humor that takes a bit of getting used to....I now enjoy when he is in the booth.

I like Colin better since he's gotten older and doesn't see himself as an international playboy anymore. He shot a 78 yesterday. Scoring should be better this morning.

Hahah... 'PLAYBOY'?.... I could never conjure up such an image of him, lol.
