and while he has spoken to reporters--no formal interview. He seems very relaxed.

I am getting excited for another PHIL run this week.

PHIL in Wisconsin Empty Re: PHIL in Wisconsin

I don't see how.  Even though, to Phil's advantage, there's very little in the way of trees to block his wayward drives, everyone says "you have to drive it in the fairway". Given that and his dismal driving percentage, I'd have to think he will not fare well.  Hope I am wrong, but his play of late doesn't even provide a glimmer of hope. Not even averaged over the course of the entire year.

Phil's Complete 2015 Stats (Link)

Phil Mickelson Stats, Bridgestone / vs 2015

- Driving accuracy 41% Bridgestone/ 2015= 58% (ranks #156)  (tour avg for Bridgestone = 45%)

- Greens in Regulation 49% Bridgestone/ 2015= 62% (ranks #189) (tour avg for Bridgestone= 56%)

- Strokes gained Tee-to-Green/2015 = .312 (ranks #69)

- Distance from edge of fairway/2015 = 30'10" (ranks #166, his misses are by a mile!!)

- Proximity to the hole/2015 = 38'6" (ranks #189) (hard to make birdies when you're that far away)
