PHIL ALL PARS AND 1 BIRD through 8. JUSTIN HAVING Another great round 4 under thru 8. IM TIRED

Phil robbed of birdie on 9th. Ball stops on edge after putt from frindge

Back to back bogies. Phil now at even par. He was bunkered on last 2 holes and his par saves WERE not that long. Putts not even touching hole. Cut predicted at under par. Not looking good so far

Center cut drive and 5 ft for birdie on 13th hole.

Missed it. Ball AGAIN not even touch the hole. This is bad news

Phil isnt doing the Jackie Burke method on the short putts where he looks from different angles. That was working well this year.

Phil hits approach to 5 to 6 ft again on 14th. C AN HE MAKE IT??????

Made it back to -1 they think cut could be -3. . He is driving it well.

Phil makes 12 fter 2 in a row. He is shaking his head

Big drive at 18 after just missing bird at #17

PHIL missed putts on an unfamilar course has kept out of the top 5 so far.

Really playing good the last five holes.

If the lead could stay at -8 he has a shot at contention but conditions are great and half field left to play

A very decent round for PHIL

Clearly he hit a few weak iron shots and missed some putts but his game is getting sharp.

I wonder if he will get to the Old course today?

Phil only 5 shots out of 2nd place. If not for the leader who is 528th in world and has missed I think every cut. Welcome to the new world of golf. In article I read Phil pleased with ball striking and not worried about putting. says putting easier fix than rest of game if off. the ETERNAL optimist
