Phil must be saving his low round for tomorrow. I just hope the leaders stall or he wont feel the heat of contention like he wanted.

He got about as little out of this round as he could. Oh yes made a few putts but he missed 11 birdie putts this round?

Okay five make able birdie putts on back nine and three putts that were over 40 feet.

On the front nine he had 4 make able birdie putts and two that were could have been.

Could have been an easy 66 today.

I am trying to remember what they said about the USOpen on the radio today, but I think that they said Phil was playing with Bubba and Angel Cabrera.

I think Phil's round was very US Open like. Let's hope he stays patient and doesn't get frustrated. The putts will fall. I bet he'd take -3 after Friday next week!
