Sideshow Phil has really struggled in the second round this year; well on his way to another weekend off.

And bogied 2nd hole as well to +3 on day and E par. Maybe he was just playing this to get in the ‘new/different’ course they must play to satisfy tour requirements that were put in place to move top players around to other venues tgat they normally would not play?

Yea, he needs to spend more time posting comical videos to social media (i hope he stops that, combined with his bad play, it looks bad)

As a lifetime member, that new course rule does not apply to Phil

In terms of his increased social media presence, I don’t blame him. He wants to stay relevant for the sake of advertising dollars, and he’s at the stage of his career where his diminishing game won’t necessitate the coverage and attention it once did.

Another bogie, +4 and +1 overall (early cut line is -1).

Uhm…. +7 today, +4 for tournament thru 8.... yes, I think you can safely say Phil will be heading home today. Maybe he can give Speith a ride.... maybe, Speith is -2 today and 2 strokes off the cut line.

I'd rather Phil retire right now than play this way.

Connecticut is beautiful this time of year; Maybe Phil can take in the sites; Gillette's Castle is not that far; perhaps Kent Falls?

I think age has caught up to Phil. It does to everyone, which is why you rarely see guys Phil's age consistently finishing in the top-20 every week.

I know he will stay on the PGA tour as long as he wants, but I hope he plays the majors in the Champions tour next year. If he does well, it should give him confidence.
