Having a late tee time tomorrow he will likely be looking at a 10 plus shot deficit. This us gut wrenching! !!!

IMO, too much distractive stuff (dancing commercials, tournament with Tiger, etc) when you need to be focused on the game. In prior years, he could get away with that because his level of play was still up there.... now, it's just looking like the class clown, buffoonery when he does that stuff and then doesn't play well.

I'm worried that Tiger will get Captain-picked for Ryder Cup and Phil will get asked to sub as Assistant.

Even if Phil misses the cut this week. He likely won't lose much ground on the points list..just won't advance any. Then he has 2 playoff events to play well. So in reality he will maybe drop to 11th on the list after this week. No more points, are earned after this week. I see him getting picked regardless. He is still top 10 in fed ex cup. Higher than a lot of young guys. Everything earned from steller play early this year.

It's not the points I'm worried about, it's the level of play. He's not been playing great lately, and if I'm picking a team to WIN, then I'd be picking those extra picks based on who played well lately coming into this time period.

his poor play is hard to swallow after his great start to the season especially when you look at last season results and he surpassed that in his first 2 months of this year.
Even his coach Getson said to me at TPC Scottsdale if he can just get that elusive win it will open the door to more victories. Then the complete opposite happened after the WGC Mexico victory
