Yesterday the weather was consistent all day. Today morning looks pretty good. Phil will really have his work cut out for him to make cut especially if the weather changes.

Dustin looks like he is going to win this year's US Open. Next year will be Phil's last chance where he has somewhat a chance to win this tournament. It's really sad to think he won't win the one tournament that he has wanted to win since he started playing golf. Maybe he can win the Senior US Open.

The weather forecast says the winds won't be a factor this afternoon. I would love to see Phil shoot a 68.

Looks like more >par than <par today (as expected) and he is slowly climbing the leader board because of that. Hope Phil is one of those few <par.

I'm thinking the most important aspect to keep scoring in check is the drives.  You can't expect to even make par from the tall grass.  If you miss your approach shot (from the fairway) and it rolls down the hill, I've already seen Justin Thomas make some splendid recoveries doing that....chip it back up close and make the putt and saving par.  But if you are hitting your third shot to a par4 from far away because you had to blast it out of the junk, good lordie.

I could only imagine the traffic, not much roadways there to handle lots of people. He said hotdogs were $6.50, Michelob Ultra $8.00, and shirt with US Open logo $85, lol.

Phil just missed an 8 foot putt by 18 inches

It's all mental for this tournament. He's not this bad. Stats coming into this were the best in a long time. Really a shame. Hope he can at least make cut .

His chipping/short game has been AWFUL. Horrible display.
