Memphis Round One 2017

and PHIL will be out this afternoon. I have some day tickets and I hope to get out to see PHIL--there is a chance I might just be lazy and watch PHIL on TV this week.

I should not have posted that. It's like when the announcer says, this player hasn't made a 3-putt in the last 12 rounds of competitive golf and then Boom!, he makes a 3-putt (I think those guys are on tape delay and know ahead of time, it happens so often).

Geesh, what's he doing on the par-5 now....from left edge of left rough, 220 to the pin and he goes 175 across the fairway into the right rough.

Finally a final birdie. Phil seems positive in his interview but what else is new. It would be a nice consolation if he could win since he's not playing next week. He will likely have 3 weeks off and who knows what his game will look like when he gets back to playing.

Not sure when Greenbrier is happening, but I saw an ad on tv where Phil said that he and his family have a residence there. I think with the course work that Phil did there, that he'll likely show up for that tourney even though I don't remember him playing well there.

Pretty sure he played there twice and missed cut both times.
Phil is redesigning the 6 holes that got damaged on a course there during last years floods.
