3rd Round 2017 Career Builders Challenge

and PHIL has played quite well. Struggled off the tee but has made putts and had his short game in gear.

Nice eagle on Friday and maybe another good round is on the way today?

Rough start. This is the tougher course and I read Phil was feeling some fatigue. Understandable for sure combined with minimal practice.

Did I mention that I was out playing today? After not playing golf for +30 years I am back at it. Since last June for that matter.

We had balmy weather today--70 degrees with some sun. No rain til later today--much better weather then Palm Springs CA. PHIL is wearing a sweater and some of us had shorts and short sleeves today

Mercy a double puts him -9--still better then I thought for this week

I was hoping for making the cut at the start of the week. He has to be pleased overall.

Phil doubles the last and some guy shoots 59.. Hopefully this isn't a sign of what is to come this year. I am totally happy Phil is playing and playing well though.

Phil sat in the booth after his round, because he's an ambassador this year. It was interesting, and he is elated with the way he's playing so well early with little practice, etc. He thinks it bodes well for the year. Any ideas what he's planning to do with his logo?

I suspect the logo will become like Golden Bear or Umbrella---something for clothing or products?

Likely....could have a line underneath the logo to indicate how much 'ground clearance' he made on the jump (or lack of), lol.
