On the plus side PHIL made a lot of putts and played well until today

Today has not been a good 1/2 round.

I don't think so... only a 275-yrd drive with 270 left to the hole. He can easily drop 1-2 shots with stupid play here.

Great second shot, but his four footer for birdie doesn't even touch the hole.

As good as he was putting for the first 54 holes, his final 18 was abysmal. Not feeling great about his chances heading into next week. Then again Phil's probably at the point of his career where he's only going to contend a few times a year anyway.

Looks like he's got his speed back off the tee, but his iron play hasn't been good so far this year and that's concerning.

You could look at this week a few ways IMO. He got into contention and had a decent week on a course that is not suited to his game or he putted his ass off for the most part and still finished only t-17.

He should have hit the bunker shot this morning and it might have been a different story. Started off wrong and stayed wrong. Tiring tournament and he lost his focus and looked really tired!
